Adopted October 12, 1999

This is a Memorandum of Agreement between the Consortium for Oceanographic Research and Education (CORE) and the Sea Grant Association. The purpose is to promote study of the oceans for scientific and educational purposes and to foster cooperation between government, academia, industry, and private citizens involved in the ocean sciences.

We jointly agree to coordinate our activities of ocean science researchers and educators. We agree to communicate freely, apprising each organization of issues of mutual interest. Specifically, we agree to hold working level discussions at least twice yearly to exchange information.

This Memorandum of Agreement will be reviewed every two years and remain in force until cancelled or modified.

Signed
